'Soft'
By MalEntente
The touch of a baby's first little reach, Fresh, furry fuzz, on a ripened peach, A whispering breeze, blowin' here and there, The cute round tummy of a teddy bear. The warm fur of a sleepin' kitty cat, A newborn puppy's paws - goin' pitterpat, A butterfly kiss, lightly on your cheek, A slow floatin' feather, playin' hide'n'seek. A sweet summer rain - tappin' at your window, A cute little wink . . . without innuendo, My thoughts drift to you, like a gentle dove, This, and more, is how I feel . . . when I feel your love.As with all my poems, they were named after they were written. This poem literally screamed it's own name to me. See if you don't agree! Written September 10th, 1995 © on Nov 13 2001 12:27 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
