Unicorn Eternal

By Morgan LeFay

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Many, many years ago, Far, far, far away In a time that is not now, Unicorns were real and true, Just as you and I. Hunts were sent and prayers were said And they were seen, I vow. But now in this new place and age They seem to be long gone. Their happy feet dance here no more And with it magic's song. Yet have they truly fled our lands, Or simply found new pastures? For in our hearts and in our minds We have not forgotten them And they have not forgotten us. They roam here still within us And for eons yet to come. They are our souls and hearts and minds, They're with us every day, And if our race is to survive for any longer time, We'll not forget their memory And hope that they shall stay.any suggestions please Written July 30th, 2001 © on Jul 30 2001 09:21 AM PST   0 • 10
