Poem for You

I promised to write you a poem of  inspiration, a little ditty to read during those moments, when the world is clamoring for your attention, action, decision, time. But I can not, for it is you that inspired me during my dark times. How to tell someone how much he meant when he doesn't even know your name is the challenge. I had decided that feeling was an overrated experience and put it behind a thick door, or to be more blunt, my soul had died slowly and painfully. Watching you express all those complicated emotions instead of keeping them bottled up inside, made me realize that perhaps, I was wrong about feeling. Somehow through the electrical currents that traveled from your world to mine, a connection was made, you stirred my soul. It was only a tremor at first, but as time went by the stirring grew. I began to laugh at the exploits of those around you and rage at some of their deeds. In those few weeks, relying on your strength and goodness that only comes from the heart, my soul began to heal. My admiration of how strong and kind and gentle you are is boundless. My gratitude for the oppportunity to watch you in action is overwhelming. Even though we have never met, you helped me in ways I can't even begin to describe nor thank you enough.
