Tamed Mind

By Nafumjromwami

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Tamed is the mind that makes life real Tamed is the mind that gives meaning to things For tomorrow wouldn’t be New Year What is the difference between today and tomorrow anyway? Happy are they who have tamed minds For a tamed mind knows its boundaries It knows its limits well It knows it can’t comprehend itself fully A tamed mind that respects its conscience A mind that listens to the heart, for the ’heart knows reasons which reason knows not’ A tamed mind that seeks integration For on it's own, untamed mind is disastrous Ask Alexander and he will tell you Ask Nietsche and he will tell you Ask any great minds, and they will tell you Relations a tamed mind seeks Dialogue it establishes Ultimate order it seeks. Confusion is no good With tamed minds, not the Sept. 11th, 2001 any more. Written December 31st, 2001 © on Dec 31 2001 06:08 AM PST   0 • 13
