I met Liz when she was an innocent local village high school girlOur friendship begun like a little grain of wheat in the soilWithin a while, it had blossomed. We were like a foot on the pathway in constant touchShe knew me, I knew her. My glance at her meant so much to herAnd so was hers. She could always read my mind, read my moods, and read my heart. And so did I.Liz’s presence was all that I needed. She was there for meBut this would soon change. Liz had fallen in love with my closest friendIt was a big slap in my face. It was a big blowHell had broken lose for meA great wound in my heart had been inflictedA life long wound to heal. How tough it was to lose such a good friend?I thought it was only a dreamThat it would not last for long. That she will still come to meOh she never came back!It is easy to lose friendship than to maintain it. But for my case, it would have been easy to maintain it than to lose it the way it happened.
