Walked down the street.. And saw the rain. It danced along with the lights and the asphalt. And then I crossed.. Walking into the darkness.. To get away from some demons. Knelt down.. And grasped the grass As if wishing.. To let my soul into the ground below me. And it all turns to grey. A thousand tears, Can’t be seen.. When you’re standing in a rainstorm. And a thousand feelings, Can’t be heard.. When you’re keeping quiet. See the mist Flying towards the sky.. Like a million drops of the sun Towards the moon. I should’ve seen.. How this would turn out. Me.. Tagging along. Nothing’s as special as it used to be And I’m flat out of energy. Should’ve seen.. I’d end up as a fifth wheel. Wishing it would go to black already.. Instead of this cloud of confusion. Wish it would all go to hell.. And I could finally release some pressure. Wishing one second.. Of insurmountable pain..
