Forever

A quick run through the forest And a skeleton from the past holds within.. Marvels, through which you may see Into the history, of our souls A few falls.. Expected, however Not too painful in the least Quite comical.. as my companions humbly exclaimed Too bad.. Those times are gone And I can’t even remember how.. We left that state, of euphoria We were expected back.. But a “little” late.. Couldnt you stay there.. Forever? A child is held within the eyes.. Of a rigid pane of glass And motherly love.. Within the eyes of a child Little do I know what is in me A mirror is not a looking glass For mercury pupils will let me know.. What is held inside Too bad.. I miss those times.. When a run along that line was so sweet And took the pain away But now i can simply see.. All too clear I lied... To myself, along with everyone else. Couldn’t you stay there.. Forever? I would’ve loved to But can I backtrack.. I hope.. Couldn’t you stay there.. Forever? Hurry.. The forest calls That concrete giant is but a monster We need not heed it’s call Attention it seeks.. And dies off of ignorance Please.. run with me.. My friends Come to the forest again I miss the ferns and trees.. Letting the sunlight come down in patches.. Across the faces of newborn children We would’ve stayed there.. But forever? We would’ve stayed there.. If we knew this would come..I wish i knew what was going on lately.. maybe its just me, maybe its everyone else, maybe its everyone. not much seems right though.. i'm sorry for how i've been to you all..
