As I look to the path... That my life has taken me, I see my footprints... Drying up ever so slowly My actions have placed something upon this earth Which would not have been... However, they will never live.. Forever So I try and continue Without looking into my past And at the footprints that are covered up... By time A teary eyed glace gives the vision... That my hopes and dreams are gone Yet a small feeling of warmth remains... For an unknown reason I’ll always look to you I’ll always look to the sky... I’ll always ask of your advice Since you’ve always loved me... I’ve strayed from your glaze But the light you emanate never left... The night I held a sliver of cold steel against my wrist.. You.. and one of your angels stood by me You gave me life once.. And this wonderful gift i thought was only once.. Was renewed by your love And the forgiveness I felt... God.. I beg of you..
