My World
By Netsubo
Shiny silver skies Bleak, yet colored paths Make up my world A white sun Shining through The dark forest And a red moon rises, On the opposite horizon Giving the clouds a morbid visage Black water flows... Through the rivers, That feed my brethren Here I belong My eyes no longer green My skin no longer bright Silver eyes.. Silver hair.. Silver skin.. Angular, Yet curved at the edge Oh so perfect.. Contradicting my rights And proving my wrongs.. With use of my claws.. I stare at the sky now Filled with shooting stars And streaks of energy.. Who says I can't live here? In my mind.. Who says.. This earth is right for me? Society has dragged me down... But what does it matter? I wont be here much longer anyways.. Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 05 2001 04:41 AM PST 18 • 0 • 13
