Unborn
By Netsubo
A few words are spoken And the dark womb of night has broken But only in one place.. Only in one color.. The babies eyes are scorched upon the red light.. Infesting its home before its time As the red recedes.. More join, yet some remain.. hidden I have not yet placed my log upon the fire But sit heavily on it.. Filled with anger Towards the first light My eyes have yet to be seen For if they were.. The darkness would return And swallow all hope.. Hope must not be lost.. You say something has changed.. But a few green words Spouted forth from the mothers mouth.. Does nothing... To me The babe is held deep within the womb.. Crying for the light to leave.. Yet only more feeling is introduced Along with pain.. all too early The fake reflection in the mirror.. Is so repetitive.. so familiar.. I’m sick of seeing this face I’m sick of seeing this body.. You all make decisions which make me cringe.. In this house.. An unborn’s umbilical cord holds the babes neck in rapture.. Yet your unblinking eyes still see nothing wrong I can’t believe you can’t see.. Build something with the tools you’ve been given Chipping away at humanity.. Makes it all even worse.. The path were on is bad enough Dont place your own coals under my feet.. I’ll spit your emotions back down your throat In a fake embrace of care.. Take all your shit and leave Get out of this house Go and cry to your fucking mother.. My light will never be seen My log never placed on your fire.. Staple my mouth shut with my anger for you Fuck you.. Sit here with an iron fist But who says it will be used Stumble upon me.. I’ll take away that hymen of night you so humbly trust Throw my iron fist away in one last fit of rage Forget yourself.. You never made a difference.. Along with your empty cries You hurt our last chance.. and scorched its eyes A blind cause for life.. Is what you have given.. Me.my brother.. i wish he wouldve stayed away..
