A Day of Visitation
By Nici
Wizards and witches came together On that night we could hear Their singing throughout the forest One wizard brought rain The other, a healed child All through the village and nearby Witches of all ages Chanting their sonnets of love Introducing wisdom never before heard of One was a child, with long red hair She had a sister with a crystal smile Thunder in her soul and aching cry Wizards and witches, young and old Warm the sky with a fallen moon There is no wisdom if fate heeds doom.
