Take My Hand

By QuietlyRemembering

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Tonight might be lonely,And the sky may be darker than the devil's heart,But your light shall guide you through the woods and to your home,Where the stars will once again shine upon a sacred ground,And the warmth of the summer will once again thrive with the sun the next morn. You might be carrying too much for you to handle,But once you reach your destination you can release all that weight,And you will feel so much lighter than before...You will be free and the stars are your only boundary,But they go on forever,And so do you...As long as you can learn to take my hand.I wish the best for you,In your life and in your dreams,Because without you,Even though I will never admit,I could not say that I hate you...Even thought that sounds weird,I wouldn't have the emotion or enough love for you to care so much about it,If you didn't care for me in the first place. And now,Even though you hate me for everything I've done,And this I know...Don't lie to yourself...I'd like to be your friend,If you would give me a chance,And take my hand. For Megan... if u read this...
