The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
To travel the distance between love and hate, Would take but one simple step. One small step over an invisible line you'll never even know you've created. No matter how hard you love someone, You always have to hate them for being so beautiful or wonderful when you cannot, And no matter how hard you hate someone, You always love them for their determination and their satisfaction with knowing you hate them. It's the one war you will never win, Because there are no rules in love, nor hate... Only boundries which if passed means you cannot return, And if you should happen to get lost, Don't even try to find your way back... You are too far gone. ~~~ I hate the way you cry when I'm around, But I love the fact that you care enough to in the first place. I hate the way you need the whole world to be happy, But I love the way that you won't give up until you get it. I hate the way you belittle yourself in order to make me feel bad, But I love the way that no matter how much you make yourself look bad, You are still beautiful to me. I hate who you are now... But I loved who you were. I do hate you... But I can't help but love doing it. Written January 1st, 2002 © on Jan 01 2002 11:30 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
