To All Those on Allpoetry
I just thought I'd thank everyone on Allpoetry and even though I'm sure most of you have no idea who I am I just wanted you to know I know who you are and it is because of you I can find happiness in myself and in my poetry... thank you, everyone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes I feel so empty, And so along, So I turn on my computer and write myself a poem. I was never good at rhyming, It just never really worked, And even though I sometimes try, I'll stick to my own style, For it is unbeatable by myself. Sometimes people try, And they try to turn my day around, They can make fun or call names, But I always have an escape they will never have, Because I have poetry, And I have myself. I just thought I'd write a little poem, To thank everyone at Allpoetry, For being there for me, When I needed an escape, When I could not receive what the rest of the world gave...
