You Are Never There
When I come home I know you won't be there, You never are. You are never there when I need you, Or when I ask for your help, But when you needed guidance, I lent all I had, But it never was good enough, was it? You always tell me how much you love me and need me, But when I turn on the light you are dissapeared, And when I close my eyes at night you are forgotten. In the morning you are still not home, And it seems you no longer live here, Because I have forgotten your true face, And I have not yet seen your true smile. You tell me you are depressed but I cannot see why, You have everything life has to offer and more, And I will no longer stay around to be your pawn. I have no sympathy for those without a heart, But even less for those who's is stone and shattered. When I come home you are never there, I should have known better than to believe in those lying blue eyes. This is true in a metaphoric way... I dont actually have my own house or anything... Lets just see if you can figure out what I mean. Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 15 2001 03:34 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
