You Truely Are an Angel (For Bigmammajen)

It seems my whole life I have been writing to prove myself to someone else, To show them I can be something special, But inside I've always believed I wasn't, And even thought it may look like I'm just the spoiled kid with everything he wants, What about those things I need? Those things everyone needs? Before tonight I didn't know who I was or why I wrote, But now I do. I was shown the way by someone so much wiser than I will ever be. With her intelligence she paved a path, And with her grace she lit a sparkling light to show me the way through the darkest of nights. She is a god as far as I am concerned. Before tonight I didn't really understand why my life was so hard sometimes, But now I do, And she helped me to understand that I was not the only one, And to get through it she taught me to hold my own hand, And with but a few simple words she showed me the door to happiness through myself, And now I open it and take the path that was meant for me. This may sound like just another cliche poem for just another person nobody knows, But this is different. This person is more than anyone else I have met, And she has shown others the way too, Whether they have choosen to listen or not is their choice, But I choose to be triumphant, And for helping me I thank her. Thank you Bigmammajen, You make writing and everything it stands for worth it, And you truley did show me the way, Even if we only talked for one night. If you could touch somebody's heart in just one night, Think about how many hearts you could reach in a year... You truley are an angel.The poem says it all... she truely is a wonderful person.
