emo boy

By Riverette

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You came into my work About one week ago I was tryin’ not to flirt Cause I thought you’d be a jerk You’ve got all the style The patches and the pins I should have asked you for a date But it’s no use, I never win You’re wearing the blue dickies And the glasses Rivers got It comes down to this statement Emo boy, I think you’re hot! Today you bought a hamster And took her home with you Never knowing that the salesgirl Wanted you to screw You’re perfection in a boy So sweet and charming too You may cry too much But damnit, I still love you! I wish that I could say How much this stranger means to me But I think I’ll keep him at a distance Though he fills me completely Written April 4th, 2002 © on Apr 03 2002 05:50 PM PST    20 • 0 • 8
