My confession

By Riverette

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

So you may have heard And yes, it’s true Over the past few months I’ve developed feelings for you The first time I laid eyes On your sweet face I knew I needed nothing more Than your tight embrace And to hear you sing My favorite blink song As I drift off to sleep Knowing there’s nothing wrong Because I don’t see how In a world with you There could be any pain or misfortune Or anyone sad and blue Cause you’re so great A mere mold of perfection And it’s hard to think I’m the only one That loves your pasty complexion When I met you Those six months ago I would have never believed I’d have this much to show I’m constantly happy Never shed a tear Just because I know In my heart, you’re always near Written April 4th, 2002 © on Apr 03 2002 06:24 PM PST    0 • 8
