and will thee speak... for angels wait in keeping as this heart doth quake... such words leave sorrow inside out for all to see; for none to doubt will thee then cease this silent pall this black, unending icy hall has ne'er seen tears a'flood as these they crest as waves; they warm dead seas for spirit's sacrifice be true 'tho here must serve as life in lieu and ever, anon, ringed with grace this tender time; this softer place holds one lone heart left beating slow in echo to where love did go and dirges haunt this these caverns cold dark empty paths where wisdom's old creased furrowed brow did once decree: Be nothing now of life to me. Be as a softly whispered prayer. Be mourning dove. Be ev'ning's care. Turn back away thy face of love Hide warm, enchanted traces of each, ev'ry gift.
