if we could have but just one hour to feel love's touch, to play, to flow'r, there would this child find peace in now. oh, how my yearning heart would bow in humble gratefulness, sublime, what joy would steal this hurting time from every pore now wracked with pain in thinking, "Why must love remain lost; seeking, lonely, all askew..." this can't be right! God! help me view this time with patience, asking ne'er what can not be... for now; for there. for... if we are not to touch or play before i leave this plane for clay then, keep this thought where 'nothing's old'...
