Here I Lay

I lay here cold and shivering Here I lay, lost and alone Crying out to all those that listen “Help me! Help me from this, my hole” As I lay here, tears drop from my face As I realize that my hopes and dreams fall from their place Here I hold my heart again Broken and shattered, unable to mend Here I lay cold and shivering Here I lay in my grave I had felt love and warmth return to my veins But now I freeze, a broken heart and only pain remains My soul is breaking, and my heart is bleeding I lay alone, confused and broken Written March 25th, 2002 © on Mar 24 2002 03:23 PM PST   18 • 0 • 1
