True Love’s Torment

By silvara

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Life in torment is such pain As is woven in love’s vain Trying, testing, our loves vine Living only but a lie Hoping, dreading our love’s end Knowing only to pretend Loving, hoping, wanting more You forever I’ll adore Wanting, wishing for your love As though promised from above Knowing only love’s true end Knowing that I can’t pretend Loving you for all and all For no other will I fall.
