Sing a Song, Posey

By SpiffyBug

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Sing a song, Posey Sing a song for me 'Cause I feel too alone tonight And I know myself too well Make it smooth and easy Hum a while to calm me Make me think I'm happy And someone who could learn how to love Sing a song for me, Posey Wrap your arms around and hold me 'Til my heart doesn't feel so heavy And there's hope after all And while you're singing I'll be dreaming of a wonderful world And I'll leave this awkward body And joy and tragedy will be under my control At least in my dreams... Say a prayer, Posey Say a prayer for me 'Cause Faith is feeling weak tonight And nothing needed comes easily Written December 16th, 2001 © on Dec 16 2001 08:01 AM PST   20 • 0 • 1
