The Neverending Quest (the Beginning)

Excuse me but have you seen A little fellow carrying an amber cross? See, that belongs to me Just another part to this neverending quest... What? So, you haven't heard The latest word on how we're saving the world Well, pour me a drink I really think you'll like my little tale It all started a long time ago Well, really only a couple of weeks... It just seems like forever 'Cause things got screwed up so fast Some hairy guy walked into the store and into my life I just thought he was paying for gas "Pump #3?" I asked. "No," he said, "But could you help me with this quest?" It was an odd request But I couldn't help liking his smile and his *huge* Brown eyes...that pleaded with me And promised that everything would be all right... Or at least better than now, or then... Although things aren't better than now are they? Are they ever? Do you think You could pour me another drink? Oh, yeah the guy. Well, it doesn't really matter 'Cause he's dead now anyway. But his son's here. To avenge his father and other stuff. He's standing over there...the one with fire in his eyes Yeah, I guess he looks kind of pissed Yes, those fangs are real Uh...he could be looking at you... But I wouldn't worry about it Going so soon? But I'm not done You haven't even heard about the others The spear chick and the furry thingies that squeek And what we're doing in the middle of Nebraska...What?!
