Nature

By SugaAngel

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I feel as though I'm drawn to nature. That it is my one true calling. The creatures of the world mean so much to me, and they know this. Some say the animals can not comprehend like us humans do. But I do not believe that. They have feelings, knowledge and so much more that we can not understand and these are some reasons why I want to be a vet. I do not wish to save the beings called humans, they mean very little to me. Our race is so pathetic, we call ourselves humans; people. We think we know so much that we are much better than nature and its creatures. But we aren't, we can learn so much from the creatures that inhabit this place we call home. Our kind is full of ego, too much in fact. Instead of being open-minded about things, we ignore what nature's knowledge has to offer us. At times I think we should be completely wiped out to let the creatures roam free to control the lands; as they once did before we interfered.
