This Pain

By SugaAngel

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My pain is that of an unceasing river, never yielding to the world's surroundings. None know the pain that runs deep, the pain that penetrates my heart each day I rise. To love again would be a crime against myself. To love another again and lose this love, I'd much rather die than renew this daily pain that has invaded my heart and soul. I long for the night so that I may escape into a peaceful slumber where he nor the pain will be. But until each night I shall continue to elude my pain when in front of my audience. I shall not shed a tear until my hour comes when he will not know of what I do. 6-12-2001 My Jeff Written June 12th, 2001 © on Sep 28 2001 04:59 PM PST, Jenny   0 • 8
