The Nature Of My Dreams
It feels like a dream now, Those few stolen hours of life for living. I want to see you again The way you were when I first saw you Standing there, with your ironic smile, Bad posture and black leather. I wanted to touch you and hear you say my name. I want to taste you and make you feel the same. It feels like a dream now, As I remember that moment we met. I want to be there again, To go back to the way things were. You eyed me through your long dark lashes, Hair falling in your face like a curtain from the world. I wanted to see you with nothing falling in your eyes. I want you to talk to me without this disguise. It feels like a dream now, That I kissed you once, then twice. My forbidden fruit, you were gone so fast. I swear someday we'll make it last forever. I wanted to stop the world and touch you again. I want to turn back time just to see you again. Amongst the world we stand alone, But I know this is not the nature of my dreams.
