'You'

By SweetSadness86

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You painted me in lies, Made them part of me. You only really saw What you wanted me to be that I am not. All you ever gave me was your name. I don't know who I am or who to blame. There's nothing left to me except a name. You took away my rights, You took up all my time, You made me fight your battles and You kept me from fighting mine. You tried to mold me To what you want the world to be. I feel there's none of me left, After you took it all away, I don't even know my name.
