Along The Beach

By The Icelander

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I walk alone along the beach, But in my heart, are two heartbeats, One is yours, the other mine, Together they beat, Through all of time. Long and alone, the days pass me by, For in my heart, for you I cry, My dream to come, the day to come, When I no longer will walk alone. Until that day, my heart beats true, To keep the love together, from me to you. Written May 23rd, 2000 © on Feb 19 2002 07:16 AM PST   0 • 18 • 8
