Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Young men and ladies are calling out for help, They have no where to turn, The cries for help are there, but no one hears them. The hints and signs are visible, but we don't notice. The parents maybe expect to much, problems at school are great. The feeling that they have no friends in the world, The pain is too great to bare. They feel like death is the only way out, It's calling to them from everywhere. But, there are people who hear the cries and see the signs, Wanting to help them out. For they want them to know that death is not the only way out, They feel their pain with them. Still there are teenagers who seem to take their lives, Escaping the unbarable pain of life. For now it's the parents and loved ones that hurt and suffer even more. Dying the is easy part, it's surviving in the world that is hard. So, remember all you teenagers, death is NOT the way out, If people do not hear your pain, then cry for help louder. People do want to help, and those who get it pay with only happiness. Dying isn't the answer.. choosing to live is. I should know.... Written April 20th, 1999 © on Feb 21 2002 09:13 PM PST   0 • 18 • 12
