Magic Gardens...

By Trish MacQueen

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Large Shasta Daisies growing new, Amongst Canterbury Bells, so blue, And Hollyhocks that bloom true, With Foxglove and Fever Few, Creating magic gardens for you. Colourful Sweet Williams, I view, Amongst Coreopsis covered in dew, And a Sunflower or two, With Yarrow and Giant Yew, Creating magic gardens for you. Imperial Lillie's facing front, too Amongst Sweet Laurel, I knew, And Petunias sticky like glue, With Pansies given their lieu, Creating magic gardens for you.
