you broke me into tiny peices     crushed my naked, withered soul     ripped the scab of heart from me     you shattered my little world     you scraped the blood from my hands     and removed me from the flesh, I'm told     my silver tongue, you tore from me     you shattered my little world     you wiped my tears with abundant mercy     washed me whiter than snow in blood     you dug the remnents of sin from me     you shattered my little world     you cradled me in your gentle arms     while I shook with fear and emptiness.     you breathed new life in deflated lungs     you shattered my empty world     you heard my cries of pain in me     the angst that ate away at me     you took away all that I believed     you shattered my empty world.     you dressed me in white, and righteousness     patiently dealt with my paralysis     rehabilitated this borrowed existence     you shattered my empty world     you replaced my isolation and sorrow,     with assurance of the upcoming sun.     I hold your hand to let you guide.     you shattered my empty world © on May 02 2001 04:39 AM PST   0 • 12
