I Welcome My Second Death
By Verse Us
I passed through life like a vioent wind. Meloncholy clouds of silent sin. I grew more bitter each day I lived. And no one ever knew. I did the things that many do. Down that gaping whole I flew. I enevidably, unwillingly chose to lose. And no one ever knew. I scarred my arms, and covered them up. I cried and wailed until I threw up. "I'm sorry for my screw ups!" And no one ever knew. I died that day in Seven Points. He was so young, yet had stiff joints. Another, I add, to lifes Death Points. And no one ever knew. I watched my father to no availe, Try to revive the wind in his sails. His only son's life, now on the scales. And no one ever knew. I woke to the sound of my poor mothers screams. I prayed to God that this was a dream. "My baby, my baby, my baby won't breath!" And no one ever knew. Bubba didn't die alone that day. His family joined him in his grave. "I hate you Satan, you filthy knave!" And no one ever knew. I rose my fists to meet Gods face. I couldn't see his new safe place. Yet I was forgiven by Gods grace. And no one then did know. I've reconsiled my ill revenge. I now ask Angels to avenge, When I'm met with sorrows by the Savage. And only God can know. Justice is done each time I pray. I'm armed and able to repay, The debts I quickly accumulate. And only God can know. I welcome the day I nod to sleep. The joy in my heart to those who weep. You'll see my again, if Gods promise you keep. And then the whole world will know!written: May 9, 2001 © on May 09 2001 01:39 PM PST 0 • 1 • 12
