'Fading Colors of Death'

By WindDancer J

“Fading Colors of Death” The colors have all but faded now. Blues, greens, and yellows all look gray. My eyes no longer focus on your face anymore. Light seems dull and dim all around me. Is this the end? Is this my time? Much has been left unspoken and undone. So many things to do, so many places I’ve yet to visit. Should I buy a year or two? Shall I hold on a bit longer? I hear the wind playing with the tree leaves, And a gentle breeze that whispers softly to me. Saying “Say goodbye now and come away fast”. Do I go? Do I stay? These are my choices.
