'Love Passed Her By'

“Love Passed Her By” She had a face so plain, It hardly ever got noticed. A sense of humor so dull, she very seldom spoke No one noticed her beauty, She kept hidden inside. So she went unnoticed, And true love passed her by. The Dreams, she dreamt, Went unheard and unanswered. Birthdays and holidays alone, With no one to share them. She longed for a man, Who would love her and accept her. But hidden away behind the veils of shyness, Love could not find her, so love passed her by.
