Drizzle
By zuzus petals
Soft intricate patterns fall like ivy In the afternoon. The delicate shadows Greet my hands As they anxiously Creep up the windowpane; An attempt To count each raindrop As it reaches it's end. I myself like liquid Pouring gently From one thought to another, Flying from sky to earth In one blur of midday light And with a clap of thunder I stream back to actuallity Only to find I have lost count...This is one of my first poems and it always seems so soothing to me Written August 29th, 2001 © on Aug 29 2001 04:02 PM PST 0 • 10
