Heavens Tide Pools
By 78harley
The pounding surf of lives pureeing forces pride to confront decaying.Unyielding tides wash through our soul, leaving us helpless against the pull.Walls of our prison resist the fall, releasing denials voice to call. While merciless waves will not relent, we cry until our lungs are spentExposed raw, we then search in vain to cling to something we can name.Finding naught, we have to drown before Gods peace for us is found.Blindness is gently stripped away to reveal His love in full portray. Our Lord then waits for the ebbing tide to drain us of our human pride. With grace, He lays His hand to claim our weary souls unto His name.God gives the strength to absorb His gift while heaven’s tide pools slowly nourish.
