I see the depth of your concern, although you try to disguise it. The love in my heart for you knows you, and pulls away your mask. I feel the warmth of your desire to make life easier for me. And I need you to know that each gesture no matter how small.. Is a pillow for my aching body. and a lift for my sinking spirit. I cannot tell you what I need, although you ask with resolve. For I myself am unsure. Because in this game, The rules are continually changing, making improvisation a necessity. All I can say to you is what is within my heart. To just be next to me-- Holding my hand and looking into my eyes. Don’t try so hard to understand. For there are times that knowledge doesn’t matter, and will never change things. I do not need a guide on a journey where there is no map to follow. But, I do need a companion to be along side of me-- Enjoying the good moments when they are here, And sharing my pain when the bad times come along. That is all that is important. That is all I need.
