Homeland.
By Andrew Hide
This is a place I hardly know, I've barely been before, I haven't walked this ground, since I was three or four. Everything is different now, but one thing stays the same, the feeling that I get from being on this land. My father worked the land here for many a year and then, we moved onto another place and started over again. This is where I was born, and learnt to stand and walk, here I became a person, here I learnt to talk. Now I am in adulthood and life for me is grand, but no matter where I live now, this is my homeland. Written February 11th, 2002 © on Feb 11 2002 11:16 AM PST, Andrew Hide 0 • 10
