The Dragons Gift.
By Andrew Hide
He seems so sad of stories told, of all the evil he beholds, but in his eyes, if you look you'll see, he has a gift for you and me, he has knowledge, understanding too, a thousand years he has been through. He is so proud and very strong, so how could we have been so wrong, he's lived so long and all alone we've cast him out, no place is home. The fire from his breath, you see, is not a flame but is a key, it doesn't burn, scold, or singe, but cleans away all our sins. So close your eyes and you will see the Dragon is in you and me.
