The Fairy Bridge
By Andrew Hide
Near my home there is a bridge, the water's ever cold, there's flowers in abundance and mosses on the stones. The trees roof overhead, reaching, grasping, holding hands, the sun glistens on the water, like gold amongst the sand. I'm sure this is a magic place, where evil can't abide, for when I turn round swiftly I see the fairies hide.
