The Ice Dragon.

By Andrew Hide

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

An almighty crash of thunder, as the glacier rips apart, a steaming, smoking Dragon rises slowly from its heart. Her mighty wings unfurling as she reaches for the sky, silver, frosty blue, the colour of her eye, she bellows out a screech as she arcs across the sky, an amazing sight of wonder, as the ice spirit starts to fly.
