Through the Ages

By Brad Kelly

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Under a full moon, we hold each other afraid that the slightest hesitation will seperate us forever. Without apparent reason we analyze the skyline, looking for something better. Already my soul too old, confused by excitement, disinterested in anything that doesn't solve my mortality.I tried to show how someone might feel about the same situation, in this case on a "date" outside, as they get older and older. The first one is perhaps a teenager, the last an elderly person. Written October 30th, 2001 © on Oct 30 2001 02:05 AM PST   0 • 8
