All My Friends

By Christopher CooperPassion won’t last forever. It fades like landmarks in the sky.Friends can last forever. They revolve like acrobats in the sky.In life I’m surrounded by picture framed peoplewith un-squared metal frame doors.I know their doors won’t always be open. They are filled with stories of how others are to blamefor the un-sqaureness of their metal frame. That’s why I live with paper clip people. That wear paper doll dressesand suits made of kitty cat yarn. They speak in comic strip voices.Carrying their thoughts in bubble cloud markers with soft veneer dreams and bigoted schemes. I know I don't believe all that I know and all that I have seen. That is why I surround myself with people who resemble,me. Written August 27th, 2001 © on Aug 27 2001 02:31 PM PST   0 • 10
