The Over Analyzation of a Natural Act By Christopher Cooper Swaggering into a room of bland floor covering and uninspiring wall tile, searching for the privacy of public anonymity. I count the wall fixtures and carefully choose the one where I can remain unseen. Urgently and with purpose, I address the fixture standing with feet shoulder width apart one foot slightly in front of the other. Pretending not to be aware of my own reflection in the tile's glaze, I separate my clothing in an un-sexual fashion. and start to hum. I am a middle-age man ... I am an old fart. The sound is needed to help in direction guidance not to ward off unwanted suitors. As a young man seeing the source and hitting the target was never a challenge. Now I have to rely on memory and pray the target is within reach. The question now is can dignity be found while your tinsel strength abates. Pissed at my inner voice wishing forever-lasting youth. I stop the progress of my task and ask the stranger next to me. "Is it my age or my prostate intellectualizing that makes this act so complicated.
