Sad Child, Bitter Man
By deviousgirl
Sitting beside me, and not too much has changed. Your an angry child, blinded by your rage. Quick to accuse, and suddenly all alone. Condeming us to watch as you falter along the way. There you go . . .stumbling ready to fall. Stubborn to change, unwilling to try. Smile darlin, Please? Things don't work your way, and then you end up scaring me. Not the child, but a grown one. I beg for you to follow, I tell you that is hurts. you tell me to cry . . .But dear I don't want to cry over you right now! Nothing instore behind those eyes of yours. I try to care, I try to listen, I try to help. But you don't want it, do you? Don't even want to help yourself? An angry child who's only getting worse . . . And then one day he becomes the bitter man. Written March 9th, 2002 © on Mar 09 2002 12:50 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
