PART 1 Welcome to the freak show, Everyone is welcome here, Come on in, little dear No one’s running the show. Here we have the one armed man, The breaded lady, the wolf man, and me, Just living freaks walking freely, So little dear, come on in. Point your little finger, tease us, Taunt us with your laughter and giggles, But remember little dear, We live just like you. Remember little dear, with each giggle, We grow stronger, knowing that we are not like you, For we don’t taunt others, we don’t have too, We know who and what we are. You call us freaks, spoils of nature, But in the end, who is the beast, Those who taunt us, belittle us, Leave us locked in cages? Believe what you may, little dear, But in the end, we know who we are, Even as you travel back to your cozy little world, The tears don’t stop falling, for your lost just like us. Part 2 Have you read the writing on the wall, The message from hell, Is it the answer to all? Come on in, step into the my world, See the message within the halls, Don’t believe all you hear, For lies walk within the walls. Welcome to my world, A place of shadows, A place were the sun never shines, And always rains tears of sorrow. Have you read writing on the wall, Could it be the answer to all, Or is it all just game, and I’m the prey As heaven and hell battle. PART 3 Upon the darkest hour, As the side show starts, The gate opens, And in marches the fans. I’m running out of patience, Tired of the games and the rules, Locked within my pain, A side show, a freak. No escape, no place to go, Lost here, trapped within myself, Hearing the message, But understanding nothing. No more goodbyes, no more hellos, For here within the hollow walls Is nothing but a sideshow Don’t mean to offend you, Or drive you away, its just me. Running through the forest, No escaping my true fate, For here within my walls, I am just the prey.Not sure if these work together or should be developed into three different pieces, would like to hear others suggestions.
