Whispers
By Dragonpoet
In this life one walks a fine line, Between the wrong and right, Never knowing what truly is wrong or right, And as the sun set, its light waning, And the moon approaches, the stars twinkle, I find myself wondering what I know. Sometimes I find myself drowning in the waves, The waves washing over me like a second skin, Listening to the whispers of my soul, Knowing there are no unbeatable odds, No locking the doors,no barring the voices. The rushing wind, a caressing touch, A simple kiss, a sign of love and caring, Knowing that here within the waves of sorrow, I borrow the hope I long to believe in, As I close my weary eyes.
