Revelations

Rising from the horrid primordial muck He stretches Gathers into himself The screaming, horrified souls of the damned The beast cries out, hurtful to hear, He is gathering his chosen few in heaven above! At last! At long last! The days are upon us; my time has come Upwards he drives, rising from perdition’s pit in a nightmare maelstrom Delivering unto the Earth horrors unimagined Terrors unrelieved Come to me my children! Find peace at my feet, together. Peace I grant you, the peace of the damned! Mine! All mine! And so did they gather The tired and the scared, unknowing, unwise At the feet of the beast The great squandered lies See what I have wrought? Shaking his great gnarled fist Your playthings are mine To keep To devour But some did hold fast Stood trembling, but strong Possessed of the truth Hope lives with us still Flashing great light Shown down on the Earth The master had come His children to save You hold no domain Not here in this place Your place lies beneath Your chains they do waitThought I would try somrthing truly different.....
