Whispers

Soft, quiet voice, like the breath of a fawn An arrow of bright hope, she strides ever on She speaks of small things, in her eyes a great wonder Kittens and puppies, strings and small things Whispers of magical places and dreams Bright eyes ever searching, she welcomes it all Her small heart a great giant, if not very tall Each day a new journey with eyes lit like fire Kittens and puppies, strings and small things Whispers of magical places and dreams Ever questing, voracious, hungry young mind She gathers her life and leaves nothing behind No object, no process too mundane to amaze Kittens and puppies, strings and small things Whispers of magical places and dreams Magical Mary, I love you forever Written February 5th, 2002 © on Feb 05 2002 12:19 AM PST   10 • 0 • 8
